An initial assessment identifies your needs and enables us to create a training programme for you to work with at home after the training sessions.
We can come to your yard or you are more than welcome to come to ours, we can also arrange to hire an arena near to you should you require different facilities.
We recommend a 45 minutes session as this enables enough time to progress without tiring you and your horse.
We also hold clinics regularly throughout the South West for all abilities which are a great way to learn and helps your horse get used to other horses in a “non show” environment.
Show Training is available, you are more than welcome to bring your horse with us to shows and we will help you walk the course, warm up and discuss how the class went on the day. We can also meet you at the show to help you.
With a small, friendly, relaxed, yard and a full size arena we have the facilities to help you achieve your ambitions. (more…)
We understand that all horses are different and adapt our training accordingly. We use routine and effective training to encourage horses to progress. We believe that your horse should want to do their job and we pride ourselves on having happy horses at our yard.
Your horse will receive an initial assessment which we will then discuss with you to see what you would like us to achieve and a recommended schedule to progress.
We offer a range of services:
– Single training sessions at your yard or at ours, ridden by Lydia Lucas
– Training & Competition livery at our yard is available for a few days to a few months
– Sales livery
– Rehabilitation livery for horses that require one to one care and work either from injury or illness
– Show training where Lydia meets you at a show with your horse and competes them for you or your horse comes with us to the show.
